The hilarity of leaky pipes

Some hired drips mistakenly put a hole in one of my home's heating pipes this week while doing some ceiling work. We had to go without heat for a night, but that and a wet bathroom floor were the only real problems. Not a big deal in the scheme of things.

Furthermore, in addition to the stream of water, a bunch of strange and somewhat wonderful sounds also sprung forth from the leak. They were recorded by myself and they are honest-to-goodness real and are listenable below. I can't promise that you'll find them as amusing as I and my family did, but I do guarantee the sounds are far more interesting than you would think.

If the flash audio player doesn't appear in the space above, you can download the MP3 here.

P.S. Happy Birthday Carolee!

Ha! I believe I'm going to have to just say no to that one.

You are the only person I know who has ever made me laugh out loud at 5:30 in the morning! It's not you singing, but it was worth the deal. *wink*

P.S. Thanks for the shout out!

Which is really worse - the fact you actually recorded this or the fact that I stopped and listened to the whole thing??? Aunt D
