State of the Blog

While the President won't get around to delivering the official nation update until later in the month (probably), here at Unknown Knowns we have a mere a fraction of the bureaucracy present in our federal government.*

In short, the state of the blog is pretty ok. 2006 wasn't a bad year for Unknown Knowns and Other Ramblings. For example, postings were up 60% from 2005 - jumping from 54 posts in '05 to 87 this past year. It is my hope to get that number up in '07.

As always, bigger things are in the works. Who knows how many of them will ever be completed.

And it's this lack of certainty that brings me to the point of this post. To add some credibility to my constant claims that things are "in the works" and yet never see the light of your computer screen, over the next few days I'll be blogging 5 posts (of waaay too many) that for various reasons didn't make it to publication in 2006.

So cross your fingers that this project doesn't turn into one of the posts that ends up on next year's "not posted" list.

*Though having all of the inefficiency.
