Reality goes up in smoke

Sometimes, a picture can speak for itself.*
(HINT: you're probably going to want to click on the image and check out the larger, full-size version to experience the picture's full awesomeness)

*With the exception of those words. And these ones.

The original image is taken from the ever-intriguing "Foundation for a Better Life." Who they are, I don't know, but they've got some truly uplifting messages. The Phillip Morris USA logo was taken from the PhillipMorrisUSA page here, and the cigarette was yanked from this page. Bethany Hamilton certainly deserves some credit too. Pretty flipping resilient kid.

You know that Bethany is going to come after you big time when she reads this, don't you.

I know - and she'll never quit chasing me either!

Yes, they had Maus at the conference, but I couldn't get my hands on it, due to the insane quantities of hands already grasping and rending it. The guy at the booth said that no matter how many copies he brings, he always runs out. "You'd think everyone had already read it by now." In the end, one can't have everything, and I'm ok with that. I did well enough.
