Sanctified Sports

If you're a sports fan, you may have noticed this headline this past week:

Falcons pick up Abraham in three-way trade

However, what you may not have realized is that Abraham wasn't the only religious figure involved in recent NFL transactions. Here's a sampling of headlines you may have missed...

In Arizona, Pope Prepared to Accept Reduced Role as Cardinal

Abraham Son Isaac Traded to St. Louis for Ram to be Named Later

After Detroit Grants Unconditional Release, Daniel Thanks God for Deliverance from Lions

Citing Moral Objections, Moses Rejects Lucrative Offer from Steelers

New York's David Struggling to Fit in as Giant

Judas Says Failed Negotiations With Saints 'Not About the Money'

And if those weren't in your newspaper's sports section, blame it on that crazy liberal media.

Editor's Note: You can get your own Benedict Cardinal's jersey here!

It looks like Noah is leading the Gators and the wildcats and huskies got left behind.
"Quite frankly, I really doubt Tommy generally looks like this." Priceless, this is a great line!!

What happened to Priest Holmes?

Lol @ the terrific Noah reference!

Apparently the Huskies and Wildcats' shooting had the wrong arc.

Priest Holmes you ask? Rumor has it that he left the NFL for Major League Baseball; he apparently felt called to join the Padres.

Go figure.
