Mad cow disease is everywhere.
And no, I don't mean in that burger you're about to chow on, I mean it's been all over the news lately. On Monday, an Alabamian cow tested positive for the disease, and then on Tuesday, the government announced that despite Monday's results, fewer cows would be tested in coming days.
All the coverage got me to thinking: how exactly do you test for mad cow disease?
