Mysterious Tremors May Portend California Quakes
In a bit of shocking news, scientists have discovered a correlation between mysterious tremors along the San Andreas fault, and Californian earthquakes. But there's more:

They (U.S. Geologists) said they were recording continuous tremors that sounded almost like "chatter" from deep beneath the surface and much deeper than most quakes.

Some felt this would have serious scientific repercussions. I don't think they were kidding either. In fact, with the announcement, Tremors was upgraded from "Lousy B Movie" to "Documentary." Very creepy.

AP: Bush Will Make Air Pollution Priority
It's no secret that President Bush's re-election was due in a large part to his right-wing supporters. So it comes as no surprise that the President today announced that air pollution would be a top issue in his next four years in office. Answering concerns from big-business executives and other wealthy GOP supporters, Bush unrolled his new plan to get back to core Republican environmental values. Namely: increased pollution. "Things have gotten just a little too environmentally friendly around here for a conservative leader," said one pentagon official.

New Maldives Island Rises from the Depths

Bush Is 'Fit for Duty' After Physical
Bush's cholesterol level increased slightly, to 170 from 167 at his August 2003 physical, but he saw a large rise in his level of HDL, or "good" cholesterol, and a drop in his level of LDL, or "bad" cholesterol.

Well, I'll tell you what, it's nice to know that at least on a moral level, the President's health is quite sound.
