So, Pete Coors. Running for U.S. Senate. Seriously, what's the deal? However, to help him out in his quest for a Senate seat, I've come up with some great campaign ideas. But first, a couple irreplaceable headlines I stumbled across:
President Bush Says He Needs Coors
...do I really need to say anything about this one? The Denver Channel guys must think they're pretty clever. I would have to agree.
Bush dubs Coors "the right man"
Yes, call it "bipartisan" folks, Anheuser-Bush has dubbed Coors the right man for the job. Oh wait... Somehow, I think I'm barking up the wrong...uh...Bush.
So on to my ideas...
I don't know if any of you have seen his ad with his daughter talking about what an awesome father he is. What I was thinking was that they should have the girl throw in something truly touching, like: "My dad loves me so much, when he says, 'Drink Responsibly' to me, he actually means it."
Another idea I had is that maybe to swing those undecided voters out there Coors could throw in something like: "I may be a conservative, but I always drink liberally."
One more: Bush recently held a Colorado rally, partially to support Pete Coors, at the Red Rocks amphitheater. In my opinion, Pete missed out here. I would've suggested a big campaign event there called "Coors on the Rocks." Now that would get some attention.
